Join Artistic Director, Jillina Carlano, and Artistic Programs Manager, Sabah, in the studio for an open level exploration of World Dance and movement.
Each week the instructors share their unique talents, style and perspective with the students. We will begin each class with a comprehensive warm-up to prepare our bodies and minds for dance. Participants will learn, review and develop dance technique. Each session will also include choreography combinations and direction for theatrical expression.
Proceeds from this class go towards Jillina's BDEmpower program - providing bellydance classes for at-risk young women in Los Angeles as well as scholarships for aspiring dancers around the world.
Dates: Tuesdays: October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
Time: Class: 1pm-2pm STAY AND PLAY from 2pm-3pm as we develop New Choreography for our new show!
